Ponly Rever CEO Interview- Crowdfunding 101
Introduce us to your business, how you got the idea, and how you sourced any materials.
The idea of reversible swimsuits born with the need to be different from others in a day of pool one of the founders of the project. Virtually everyone wore a bathing suit that had appeared on the market and that was fashionable then. The desire not to feel like a copy produced that swimsuit was used but flipped, it inside out. Nobody noticed, was born there the creativity to create swimwear reversible and of multiple forms of utility.
How did you go about manufacturing your product, as that is a major obstacle for many entrepreneurs?
Our product was born with the idea of creating a new collection of swimwear with a great design. After endless sketches, we could agree to create something special, special color and design as well as in the numerous forms of utility that should have our bathing suits for ladies. Later came the idea of creating a model for men who have the characteristics PonlyRever and represent the opening of our collection for both genders ... When the time of birth of the first prototype arrived, many clothing manufacturers did not dare to create something similar, due to the degree of difficulty of exposing a fabric with each other and do not alter any design. After several days we get to the person who dared to translate their knowledge into our collection, contributed ideas that were very important to us and established the concept of PonlyRever as we had designed.
Creating a product from scratch is a difficult task for any entrepreneur. Maybe what creativity is not difficult but it is the time you should get the right person for that life to the project. That is the most important.
How do you handle the logistics and inventory management of a crowd funding campaign, not knowing how much product you will end up needing?
Our team has already organized all contacts with suppliers and manufacturers and garment companies. They have also been set Search and select the material for the packaging of our swimsuits and the company that will transport them. It is impossible to know the amount that would be will produced and that is why we are waiting for the development of our campaign to know the level of demand you get.
Tell us about the backend of your business and if there is any online tools or apps you use to stay organized?
Currently, we programmed to perform activities regarding promotion it is, the day before. And planning concerning the product and its production have been established and developed. It only remains to know the degree of scope to get our project.
How have you been able to get the word out about your product? Any direct or online marketing tips?
Our Instagram account has been active since the process of promoting our collection began. There we have been posting real photographs of our swimsuits and interacting with followers.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Without any doubt, patience is a great virtue and know that success does not come without a fight are strongly two realities that keep us steadfast in what we do and desire. We know there is a God who observes us and holds out his hand to reach our goals and never lose heart ...
We have been told there: Develop confidence and security in what you do so that people can see that you're the person ideal to sell what they want.
What tips do you have for crowd funders and entrepreneurs, from making a crowd funding video to making a website and selling product?
Today, people are very difficult to persuade if you try to introduce a product to the force. Ideally persuade creating and telling stories that include your product but not a hassle for people to feel obliged to buy it. The trick is to create a feeling, a need, to create the desire to buy the product that will solve their problems. No need to create buyers, you need to create followers / fans of our product.
Lastly, what should consumers know about your product that is different from what is already on the market?
Ponly Rever stands out for its reversible and multiple ways to use features, but without doubt one of the most important factors that make the difference with other existing swimsuits on the market is the feeling of being able to transform her appearance with her swimsuit , whenever you want and the ways you want. Feel comfortable knowing you have the ideal to wear at all times as you like without taking more than a bathing suit in your travel bag garment.
